To celebrate the first day of spring I got myself into gardening mode and managed not 1 but 2 hexies this Wednesday. My roses are also springing into bloom.
The first hexie is with my 'Peter Frankenfeld' rose.
'Just Joey' is sharing the sunlight with my second hexie.
'Blue Moon' also has a bloom soaking up the warm spring air. My white 'Iceberg' was out a few days earlier but has gone past being nice for a photo.
Beautiful roses and hexagon flowers!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous of those gorgeous roses , they are amazing ,I can almost smell them ;-) Your hexie flowers are gorgeous too and the background couldn't be better !
ReplyDeleteNarelle your roses are gorgeous. I'm envious. I used to have Blue Moon many years ago & haven't grown roses since. Love the hexies too. Jeanette
ReplyDeleteHi Narelle..Your flowers are lovely ,, and also your roses..I have a Just Joey and a Blue Moon..but as yet no flowers...Happy gardening/sewing ,,Kate:)
ReplyDeletePretty hexies and beautiful roses! How envious I am that you're moving into the growing season, as our season here in the US is just the opposite.
ReplyDeleteAs a new visitor to your blog, I went through older posts to see your hexie flowers. I love your variations and mix of colors. They'll be so pretty together.
Lovely flowers and thank you for your kind words at my blog.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day.
I love roses, the Blue Moon is simply beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove your hexies too!
And down here in Vic we are rejoicing in azaleas, camellias, rhododendrons, bulbs of all sorts and blossoms...fruit and ornamental. But just finished planting a few roses about 2 weeks ago. They were catalog markdowns but am really looking forward to them....and yes I bought another Just Joey this year...about my third I suspect.
ReplyDeleteBut I am resisting the hexies to go with them, although those look tempting.
Fabulous roses.
ReplyDeleteI have the one rose which is on it's third flowering this year. I don't know the name as it was a marked down butthe fragrance is fabulous. Really strong
Love and hugs Gina xxxx

ReplyDeleteI love you flowers, the hexie's and the real ones. I'm in love with the purple one!!
ReplyDeleteI love your 2nd hexie flower, it is just beautiful! Like the real ones...
ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous to match your hexie with a rose from your garden. I hacked my roses back in May and now am waiting for them to come back. Lots of leaves and hopefully lots of flowers to come.
ReplyDeleteI have lots of camelias flowering though.
Both types of flowers are beautiful! Well done.
ReplyDelete:)
You have so beautiful roses in your garden and I love the flowers you made too!
ReplyDeletePeter Frankenfeld was wellknown in TV in Germany.
What gorgeous roses! I guess we are winding down with summer, everything is browning up. I will miss the flowers, but looking forward to just a tad cooler weather lately.
