FNSI and 1 Xmas Item for January

My Friday night took a change of direction after I finally found the project I thought I'd work on, to find it wasn't what I thought it was.  So I grabbed a pile of old magazines and continued sorting them into these 3 piles.

1.  Christmas themed.
2.  To be re-homed.
3.  Projects I would like to make.

There are just so many gorgeous projects and never enough time to make them all so I have to be strong.

Earlier in the week I delved into a draw of 'bits and pieces' and found a couple of ornaments that have been cut out since 2009, oooops!  These are from Marg Low Designs and were a kit in an online stitching day I had signed up for. The bigger of the 2 will have to wait for a nice button or something to adorn the centre.

These are my 1 Xmas Items A Month for January. Now to find a safe, clean storage place where I won't forget where I put them! The new blog has been super busy this morning ... you might like to pop over for a visit to view all the lovely Christmas goodies the Elves have been busy creating.

Happy Long Weekend for Australia Day     >^,,^<

  14. Hi Narelle. Your ornaments look lovely. Just out of curiosity, in your magazines to be re-housed would you have a copy of Inspiring Country Threads vol 13 no. 8? I recently saw the annual project index for volume 13 and there is a picture in it of a stitchery project I would love to make for a young friend. However, they have no back issues available. If you have a copy spare, would you mind if I bought it off you please? Obviously happy to cover postage as well. Thanks, Tracy.

  15. Morning,
May I please find out how I go about posting my January item on the 1 Xmas Item a Month blog page? I see my blog is listed on the right (Sunshineandasewingbasket.blogspot.com) but I would like to make a specially dedicated post for my Item 1. I am a little bit of a technophobe, but should be able to do it with a bit of direction.
    Thanks Pat x
