Changing of the Guard

Over a month has passed since we said our goodbyes to this sweet girl .

* Jayne *   1998 - 2018

Sometimes things are just meant to be. Mid February a chance meeting led to these 2 handsome boys coming to live with us and after a short settling in period, all were getting on amicably.

I like to think that Jayne knew they would take over the feline duties and it was time to join her sister 💕

Easter was spent with family and now while on school holidays and with the help of the Commonwealth Games on TV, I hope to get April tags for Ruth's Quilt stitched. Here are my March Tags finished on the 1st of April, fooling.

How quickly I lose my mojo once the mainstream work/life balance is in full swing ... maybe my balance is off ... I will need to work on that.

  1. So sorry for your loss of Jayne. I love the names Earle & Claude, the both look very studious in their pictures. Love the stitching, hope you can sort out your home/work balance as it can be difficult :)

  2. Am glad that you have some new fur babies to fill your hearts and live with--and sorry on your lose of your other fur babies--
    and stitching is always good to do--
    enjoy, di

  3. Awwww your new furbabies are gorgeous. Love your blocks for Ruth's Dream. Hugs,xx

  4. So sorry to hear of Jaynes passing. I am so glad those 2 cute little blokes are helping to ease the loss. Enjoy your well earned break Narelle xx

  5. Sorry about sweet Jayne, it makes a gap in our lives. YOu have two lovely cats there for comfort. The tags are coming on well, happy stitching.... sometimes mojo comesand goes especially with other things happening in our lives...

  6. I'm sorry to read of your losing Jayne... no doubt your two new companions know they're in a loving home & will provide you with much fun & many cuddles x
