Not Again!

Sitting safe at home with nowhere to go ... only time will tell when this lot will go down and there is more rain predicted this weekend.

If you click on the photo you might see the flood marker (left side middle) clearer but it's showing 1.7m deep.

I've been adding your '1 Xmas Item' photos as I visit so please, if you don't find your photo on the page by the end of the month, let me know...I don't wish to miss anyone out. Thankyou for sharing your makes as it's great to see all the lovely gifts and decorations.

  1. Oh no!!!! We had some rain here, but only a bit, thank goodness. Last time there were floods in Qld and NSW we got hit too, so I was breathing a sigh of relief. Gosh the weather is being crazy. Hope it subsides for you soon :)

  6. Heck Narelle, nature is a strange thing to engulf some areas with water and totally deprive others of so much as a drop of it, ggrrr...

  9. hope the rain doesn't visit for too long.
Love your little 'c' stitchery. The chain stitching looks wonderful, just gives the letter that little bit of an oomph.
    gorgeous thread too.

  12. Staying home and staying safe is the only way to go. We were planning a weekend up your way, but have decided against it as the weather predictions are not looking good to get home. Hope you're getting some sewing done throughout all this rain!

  13. Hey Narelle! Soggy and wet here on top of our 'hill' too with lots of road closures. In fact, last night when GB looked at the map, the only place you could go from here was down the 'hill' to Bris. Good thing we wer staying home for Girls Stitch In this weekend! :0) A few gals had issues getting here or getting home, but it was perfect stitching weather, so hope your needle and thread have been busy too. Here's to some sunny days this week!!! Bear Hugs! KRIS
