The 25th Is Here!

Good morning blogland!

Today is the 25th here in Aus and it's time to share your One Xmas Item for September.  It's a very good thing that I was able to get these finished earlier (I actually started them for August and never finished in time) because once more I've had NO sewing time since FNSI.

These 3 Bon Bon's bring my total to 6 ... now to fill them with yummy treats!

Are you like me and finding the time is just rushing past now? We still have October and November to make Christmas Items so all is still OK :)

Have you missed a few months or just didn't get around to making a start? There's still time to get sewing and join in with myself and my wonderful elf friends who have been cheering each other on as we wrap the year up with 'less stress' this Christmas.

Leave a comment on this post once you've shared your 1 Xmas Item and I will add a linked photo to the September page.

FNSI Results

Rugby League, early dinner and FNSI.  While hubby watched the Warriors pip the Tigers at the post, I stitched the letter 'T' for Home Sweet Home BOM and then got to knitting my second Ruffle Scarf.

How was your Friday night?

We have family visiting today so I'm off to have some morning tea and all the preparations for a BBQ lunch are done so we can sit and chat.

Today, Yesterday and the Day Before

Not so sure about the title but I thought I would work backwards with what I've been up to over the last few days.

This morning as I stepped outside with camera in hand I spied this little fellow ... not sure if he even knows which way he's going.

Time to lay out my Inchy Swap Flowers for a garden update and of course there is always help on hand. Think Fleur is claiming this garden for herself?

Yesterday these two pretties arrived from Anette in Denmark ... just perfect for spring. I started out by embroidering names in the centres so I will have to do some catching up with that.

I spent the nicest afternoon yesterday with BF Kerry. We chatted, knitted and enjoyed a movie together. Both of us were working on a scarf and I was able to finish mine off last night. Here my ever faithful model is ready for the camera.

The day before I found a second hand shop in a little town nearby and found these 2 treasures. The sweet little jug has joined the crockery set in the cupboard and I've left the utensils container on the bench for ... you guessed it ... utensils!

Today is also UFO Thursday hosted by Sandy at Cookies and Cream Craft. Although I have plenty of UFO's to choose from I need to 'feel like' tackling those so for now I'll keep working on things with deadlines.

Don't forget this Friday is Friday Night Sew-In ... think I'll either knit or embroider or perhaps a bit of both :o)

Happy Sewing

Gone Gardening

Spring has arrived and I have been so slack lately that I didn't even have my roses pruned untill yesterday. There's lots more gardening to do so I'm planning a little each day in the hope that my body doesn't say 'what the ?'.

Still managing to squeeze in some sewing and gathering for the FRIENDS Swap and One Xmas Item as well as working on my current BOM.

Squeeze a little sewing into your day :o)
