For a while I've been toying with changing my blog name and I think this is more me? I still love my roses and am getting ready for some pruning there once they finish flowering. I just think the definition of a 'notion' suits me more, with where I am at right now. And I like how it fits with the abbreviation of my first name.

So I'll keep the blog address and all else the same, I've simply changed my title. I value your thoughts on my make-over.

I leave you with my three fowl friends enjoying some free range in the garden.
I think the new name is perfect!
ReplyDeletewill be easier not changing your blog address cause we still get you just with a new look.........
ReplyDeleteit really is a big decision to make when you start your blog your blog name...........you wouldn't want to do it too often cause people get too confused but great idea to do a post about your change.........
Well you know I love your Country Roses identity... but I really really like 'Nell's Notions' too!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your fresh look and change!
Good luck with your change of name!! Same blog address makes it easy!! Love the picture of the chooks in your garden!! Roaming Free!
ReplyDeleteI have a daughter named Nellie so of course I think your new blog name is perfect !
ReplyDeleteOk I'll admit it I was confused. But fair do it is early in the morning and I haven't had my cup of coffee yet.

love and hugs Gina xxx
You tricked me. Bloglines just changed from one to the other by itself so I read the entry this morning and didn't even realise who's blog I was reading. Well done.......but I thought you were busy washing? And did you get some sewing done too?
ReplyDeleteGo for it. Nothing like a change. I know I've changed my thoughts on blogs/titles/layouts I like etc since I started. Keeping the same address is a good idea.
ReplyDeleteWell after I got over the confusion... coffee helped a lot. and reading everything twice... Nice new look and I love the name. Dont be changing the address, unless you want to confuse me more. lol. which doesnt take much these days. :):)Hugz xxx.
ReplyDeleteChanges are lovely, sometimes exactly what is needed to revitalise us. :-) I love your new look!
ReplyDeleteI use Google Reader so I saw the post first. I liked the old name because it reminded me of my disher, Old Country Roses, but I still like the new one better.
