Winter is knocking on the door this morning .... brrrrr!
My 3rd 1/2" hexie flower. I managed to finish joining the petals last night with some difficultly ... the cat on my lap kept twitching every time the thread touched her and once she got a fright and almost fell off my lap of course using her claws a little to maintain her position.
Looking fabulous. The prints are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flower!
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are looking great...xx
ReplyDeleteYour flower looks lovely Narelle...beautiful fabric..and i know the feeling literally...i have got some sacratches on my legs too of my cat who always wants to lay with me in that position and falls of now and then..or starts playing with the threads when i pull them thrue....
ReplyDeleteHere in Holland it is lovely weather...the sun is shinning already and its going to be 20 degrees today..usually it rains and is still cold...so no one is complaining now...greetings Francien.
The fabrics that you are using are just lovely.
ReplyDeleteStill no center colour chosen?
Nice colours...... Know what you mean about the cold, it was 2 jumpers for me this morning.
ReplyDeleteLove the colours you are using. They look fantastic. Can't wait to see them altogether. It's a honey bun you're using? Which one?
ReplyDeleteCats are funny creatures. The flower looks pretty. That reminds me of my 'stuck away' hexagon project. Should dig it up again....
ReplyDeleteI HaTe winter too but....
ReplyDeleteI LoVe your hexie! :)
Thanks for your lovely comment Narelle...i used the squares from my charmpacks..5x5 inch ( 12.5x12.5 cm) i just love the embroidered biscornu`s but i wanted to try with only fabric first..my brain did not understand the pattern at fist...lol....(agething) and some ended up in the bin..but now i wont forget "how-to"anymore..
ReplyDeletegreetings Francien.
Beautiful fabrics; love your flower!
ReplyDeleteLooking good! 8-)
ReplyDeletePoor kitty scare... and ouch! lol!
Your flowers are all lovely, and they're coming together quickly.
ReplyDeleteI can picture your cat twitching, just as you described her. How funny, except when claws are digging into your flesh.
