Public Holiday Play

Today we enjoyed a public holiday to celebrate the Queen's Birthday and as the weather was horrid I got to stay indoors and sew a little, cut a little, iron a little (clothing too!) etc.

Even ironing the clothes wasn't too bad as it helped keep the cold away.  I also managed to cut my fabric ready for a workshop this weekend and plan to do a little knitting tonight after dinner.

Although the weather has been wet and windy, there are moments of beauty also. This was outside my back door this morning.

Hope you enjoyed some colour in your day.

  4. Not much colour... but I did get a lot of computer paperwork done... almost ready for the tax man now! Terrible weather so only stayed inside... only a little sewing!
    Very successful though! :)

  5. Beautiful blocks Narelle. You made the most of your cold day. Your weather is similar to ours at the moment. The difference is that yours is winter and ours should be summer!
