While I wait for my next town day to buy a better matching blue cotton to machine applique the letters ... I've been hand embroidering more animal sounds and whiskers.

Also officially back to work this week ahead of back to school for students next week. I am really going to try and keep up my blog posting and visiting more regularly than last year ... it's nice to keep in touch with friends xx
Enjoying slightly cooler weather today after a week of 38 to 41 degrees and oh the humidity. Hubby measured 12mm this morning after last nights storm while friends in town 50km away measured 101mm. More 38 to 42 degree heat forcast this week 😭

Parker's quilt is looking lovely. We have had a 2 day reprieve from the 40 degree heat - back to the 38 and over this week - time to stay inside and hibernate from that sun!!
