Washcloth Time Again

Doing a lot of sitting at the moment with mum in hospital recovering from a heart valve replacement. A long road ahead but it's onward and upward from here. So I brought 2 balls of wool and knitting needles with me ... knit, purl, knit, purl.

With the first ball I just kept knitting till the end so it's more like a table centre/hot pad. Now the second ball can make 2 dishcloths. The wool is a microfiber so I'm keen to see how it goes. My casting off is a bit tight and practice won't make me perfect.

Time to get back to my black stitcheries soon too...good thing I had April's done.

  1. All the best for your Mum's full recovery..... great idea to have knitting that doesn't need to much thinking. Take care

  2. Washcloths are great little projects and always needed! Hope things go well with your mum - if she is offered or you can request for cardiac rehab post hospital discharge it has fantastic outcomes.

  3. I hope your mum is recovering nicely. So good to have something for your hands to do while you were sitting with her. I love the colours come through in those variegated yarns!
